<p> Knock, knock. Who's there? The Church Lady? The President
of the U.S.? Both? Then it must be Saturday Night Live's elfin
Dana Carvey, who debuted as a film star last week in
Opportunity Knocks. "It's terrible, I know," says Carvey, 35,
who claims the script was "supposed to be rewritten." One
highlight is his deft imitation of George Bush, whom the comic
calls a "combination of Mr. Rogers and John Wayne." In his next
film, Carvey plays a white youth raised by Japanese ninjas.
Opportunity kicks.
